My name is Emily and I live in the Midlands in the United Kingdom with my family.

I've always been an admirer of vintage fashion, but it wasn't until I gave birth to my daughter back in 2020, that I started to wear clothes inspired by the past as a way to reclaim back my identity after becoming 'Mum'.

This inspired me to set up my own vintage clothes shop in 2022 which I unfortunately had to close down a year later due to the Cost of Living Crisis and the increasing energy costs.

Having the shop opened my eyes to the amount of clothing that exists and the waste it creates, so now I focus on buying and dressing in second hand fashion. This also includes sewing and knitting when I can with second hand textiles, including unravelling knitted garments to reuse the yarn!

I'm an avid collector of vintage knitting and sewing patterns and I'm currently teaching myself how to size up these patterns to fit my body shape.

I studied Film, Television and Radio Studies at Staffordshire University and I'm also a qualified hairdresser, with my niche being vintage hair styling.
